Steve has been entertaining since the age of 11 when he first started out playing guitar for his fathers country band The Convoys .When the lead singer left the band he stepped in as lead vocalist and changed the name to The Ramblers . Then came a father & son duo . Although steve loved playing country & rock n roll he had a passion for rockabilly and so formed The Niteshift Trio with a couple of school mates . They became very popular around the clubs and signed a record deal with Fury Records .The album was very well received around europe which set him off on the road .
After some fantastic success playing the rockabilly clubs it was time for a change and to go full time so then came the solo act ,playing all the major holiday venues all over the country and performing various types of music.
Then came CMT (country music television) and the Line Dance boom began .
This was always the music he loved and what better way than to open two Line Dance clubs which are still running to this day . This is where he met John who now is one half of Rancher , steve’s country music duo .
Steve now works as a solo act , a line dance DJ , and also as Rancher
